Andy Pryde

Bassist, Andy Pryde, has been playing in clubs and concerts since 1984. He has been a member of Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks, Al Black and the Steady Band, The Confederacy of Dunces, The Eldorados, Something Blue, Altogether Steve, Bluejackets Required, John Howard Band and the Parker/Watson Group. He has had the good fortune to have performed onstage with artists Tam White, Domenic Troiano, Jackson Delta, Jeff Healey, Shania Twain, Chris Partland, Jerome Godboo, Jack DeKeyser, George Oliver, Rick Fines, Kelly Jay and Spandex Effect. As clinician and instructor, Andy has taught audio engineering and music production and is currently the live sound engineer for the Humber College Music Program. He is also a recording engineer and producer with recent focus on arranging and composition and has engineered and produced albums for Bobby Watson, Buzz Thompson, Valery Gore, Loco Zydeco, Francois Mulder, The Spandettes, Alan Black, The Andy Pryde Project and the annual student ensemble compilation New Standards for Humber College Music. He has appeared onstage in many local venues, as well as Copps Colliseum in Hamilton, Casino Rama in Orillia and the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
